Don't Mind the Rain
Friday, December 19, 2008

It's a pretty gloomy day here in Akron, but hopefully it's not raining on your holiday cheer.  With only a few days until Hanukkah and Christmas, don't stress about those last minute gifts, we're here to help.  We have gifts for everyone.  Also, today is the last day to ship 3rd-Day Air and have it arrive by Christmas.

We've had some inquiries about Don's White House ornament and whether or not it can be purchased.  Unfortunately, all the ornaments chosen for the tree cannot be sold in stores.  Don's piece was actually formed by hand around the plain ornament every artist received, so it is truly a one of a kind.  We appreciate all the interest and are very sorry we can't share the ornament with everyone.  Thanks again!

White House Ornament
Monday, December 8, 2008

This year, Congressmen were asked to pick an artist from their local District to design an ornament for the White House Christmas Tree. Congressman Tim Ryan selected Don Drumm to represent Ohio's 17th District. Pictured is Don's ornament, which stands in the White House's Blue Room with only 369 other ornaments from artists across the country. All of us at Don Drumm are both proud and honored Don was chosen. Here is a link to see all the ornaments from this years theme, A Red, White and Blue Christmas.

Leaves
Wednesday, November 26, 2008

Don makes over 300 different pewter leaves. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and can serve a number of functions. They make great nut or candy dishes, but with the extensive detail in each leaf, they're beautiful on their own. A few more of his leaves are now available on the website. Also, the Gallery will be closed tomorrow for Thanksgiving, but will reopen again on Friday. Have a wonderful Holiday!!
