Fall is here, cold weather and all.  Stay warm with handmade blankets and scarves from Different Drummer.

Case Changes

As the Fall Show draws closer, we still have a few more jewelry cases that need to be changed.  You may not realize it, but a lot a work goes into each case.  We change the jewelry displays every 6 months for the Spring and Fall Show Open Houses.  Each case can take more than a day to finish.  As you can see in the picture, displays look quite different before jewelry is placed inside.  Come see the finished product this Saturday.

Linda O...Oh, Linda!

This Saturday, Linda Osterhoudt, creator of Linda O...Oh, Linda jewelry, will have a Trunk Show at our Gallery.  Come visit with the artist and enjoy some of her incredible pieces.  

Sky Notch

I've found more archive photos.  These are of the Sky Notch, which I created in 1969 for the University of Akron.  It still stands today, and you can find it on the U of A campus near Broadway in the John Morley Health Center Courtyard.

Get Ready...

The Show Gallery is in shambles as we prepare for our Annual Fall Show.  Some of us are busy displaying our featured artist, KronosWorks, while others are changing the jewelry cases.  It may be a mess right now, but by Saturday we'll look great.  Join us for food and refreshments from 10-5 this Saturday, October 4th!

Serving Pieces Added

Don Drumm's nature inspired serving pieces have been added to the website.  Both beautiful and reasonably priced they are the perfect addition to any dinner party.  

Like Lists?

Stay organized at work with fun and functional notepads.  Different Drummer has everything from travel checklists to message sticky notes to notepads that double as mouse pads.  We even have To-Do List temporary tattoos so the reminders you write on your hand look a little more professional.
