Don takes turning 88 in stride. He is invigorated by coming into work every day and creating new works of art. Often recognized for his breadth of design skills and talent, he constantly finds inspiration in the natural world around him. He is energized by new ideas and techniques, and the connection his artwork has with people.  

In 2022 Don began designing a collection of fanciful birds. Fascinated by these beautiful creatures of flight, he sees them as symbols of hope, peace, and prosperity. Of course, Don could not stop at creating just one bird, he was inspired to create a whole flock of fanciful feathered friends.

In honor of Don’s 88th birthday, we are celebrating “Bird-day”, by offering a limited edition of one-of-a-kind bird sculptures in pewter.
