Bluegill Pottery Small Cherry Blossom Tray

A beautifully impressed texture of leaves, cherry blossoms and little flowers decorate the surface of these serving trays. The cherry blossoms are created from varying sizes of handmade clay stamps and have a raised detail in the middle of the flowers that is glazed with a light yellow. The background of the tray is a neutral green and the blossoms have an iridescent pink to periwinkle glaze that shimmers in the light. Tiny dots of reddish purple glaze create highlights of color throughout the piece. The handles are created in a wood textured theme and add a lovely finishing touch to each piece. All the work is individually handmade, so each piece will be unique. Glazes are food safe and microwave and dishwasher safe.

Firing takes place in an oxidation atmosphere which empowers both subtle and brilliant colors to work as a whole in the composition. Handcrafted in North Carolina.
